Giving back is an integral part of Origina’s core values. We believe great things can happen when people are empowered. By providing opportunities and encouraging growth, we aim to help create a brighter future for everyone.
Here are some of the worthwhile organizations we are currently supporting.
The Solas Project is one of our new partners for 2025. Through after-school programs, teen mentoring, and youth work initiatives, they provide a range of innovative interventions to equip and empower young people to reach their full potential. They also advocate for societal change to tackle the issue of inequality. We are proud to contribute €90,000 to aid in their worthy mission.
Origina is once again the lead corporate sponsor of This Spaceship Earth, a renowned environmental nonprofit organization committed to overcoming the challenges of the climate crisis, underscoring our belief in sustainability in tech, reduced e-waste generation, and the Right to Repair movement. Together, we are working to make a significant impact on the mounting global e-waste problem by raising awareness, fostering sustainable practices, and driving meaningful change in the tech industry.
We became a sponsor of Hockey Ireland’s U16 Girls team in 2024. It’s fantastic to be able to support local female sports and, honestly, pretty darn cool to see our Origina logo on their kits, too.
Origina’s sponsorship with the Mentor Her Entrepreneur Six-Month Program will help two women propel their business forward by engaging in mentor circles and immersive workshops, as well as to learn from leaders across different industries and backgrounds. We’ve also launched a pilot three-month mentoring program in collaboration with Mentor Her for the women of Team Origina to support and empower their career goals.
We proudly celebrate the LGBTQ+ community at Origina, not just during Pride Month, but throughout the year. We’re honored to be allies and advocates. Along with partnering with Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland, we continue to hold workshops on allyship and building an inclusive workplace, as well as contributing €10,000 to the organization.
Donning festive and sometimes outlandish sweaters on Christmas Jumper Day has become a yearly tradition at Origina, and last December was no different. Spearheaded by our Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder Rowan O’Donoghue, our founders made donations to the Children’s Health Foundation Temple Street in Ireland and the Children’s Medical Center Foundation in Dallas to help support children and their families when they need it most.
We gave €10,000 to several amazing organizations in Ireland and in the States. In Ireland, Origina contributed to Focus Ireland, Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street, the Peter McVerry Trust, and Dublin Simon Community.
Across the pond last December, Team Origina members rang the familiar Christmas bells for the annual Salvation Army of North Texas Red Kettle Drive. The Salvation Army in Texas also received $10,000.
