PRESS RELEASE
Origina Strengthens Asia-Pacific Relationships and Expansion with Key Appointments

SYDNEY — September 12, 2024 — Origina, the leader in independent software maintenance for IBM, HCL, and VMware, has announced two strategic appointments to support its growth across the Asia-Pacific region. Jay Tuckey has been named Head of Partnerships and Alliances for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, while Corinne Campbell will focus exclusively on the development of their partner SoftwareOne A/NZ.

Jay Tuckey, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology industry, joins Origina from HCL, where he most recently served as the APAC Sales Director. His previous roles include working with IBM and collaborating with IBM’s channel ecosystem during his time at Ingram Micro.

Jay will spearhead Origina’s efforts to expand its channel and alliances with expert software vendors throughout the APJ region. His focus will be on growing the company’s partner network, including resellers, referral partners, and influencers, while ensuring the delivery of cost-effective and high-quality software maintenance and support to end customers. Jay’s deep knowledge of both vendors and channel partners positions him well to drive the company’s regional growth strategy.

“Jay brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective, having worked closely with both vendors and channel partners,” said Origina CEO and Founder Tomás O’Leary. “His passion for helping customers extend the life of their software investments while balancing cost pressures makes him a perfect fit to lead our partnership initiatives in APJ.”

Meanwhile, Corinne Campbell, a highly accomplished business development and sales executive with more than 30 years of experience in the A/NZ technology market, will focus her efforts on an exclusive partnership with SoftwareOne A/NZ. Corinne, who has played a pivotal role in establishing Origina’s presence in Australia, will work as an extended member of SoftwareOne’s sales team, driving the company’s business growth in collaboration with Origina’s services.

With over six years of experience in the independent software maintenance sector, Corinne’s expertise will be instrumental in delivering exceptional value to SoftwareOne’s clients. Corinne’s leadership and business acumen have been key to Origina’s success in the region, and her continued focus on strategic partnerships aligns perfectly with the company’s long-term growth plans.

“Corinne’s deep industry knowledge and proven track record in business development make her a vital asset to our partnership with SoftwareOne,” said O’Leary. “Her contributions will ensure that we continue to provide world-class maintenance and support to our customers while strengthening our presence in the region.”
