Origina Promotes Mahaffey to COO, Candadai to SVP, Global Marketing

DUBLIN — January 11, 2023 — Origina, the leader in third-party software maintenance and support, recently announced the promotion of Shannon Mahaffey to Chief Operations Officer and Hari Candadai to Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Thought Leadership.

A skilled growth, strategy, and operations executive, Shannon Mahaffey was previously President of Origina North America. He has had an extensive career with high-performing tech companies, including Arctic Wolf Networks, Kaminario, Dell, and Compellent. Shannon will move from focusing on North America to assisting Origina CEO and Founder Tomás O’Leary in executing the company’s global strategic vision and objectives.

“Origina’s continued worldwide growth in delivering outstanding software maintenance has significantly expanded our employee, customer, and partner base,” Mahaffey says. “Global expansion and rapid customer growth necessitate Origina now have a chief operations officer.”

A seasoned marketing leader and accomplished speaker, Hari Candadai has over 20 years of experience in building and scaling global marketing teams. Prior to Origina, he held strategy and thought leadership roles at Siemens, Remedy, and Rimini Street. One of the chief evangelists for independent software support and maintenance, Hari has written several industry research reports and often speaks at conferences across the globe.
